Meet Dr. Jung Lim, DDS
Endodontist
Dr. Jung Lim grew up in Los Angeles and earned his undergraduate degree from UCLA with honors in microbiology and immunology. He subsequently was involved with oral cancer research which opened the doors for him to complete his DDS degree from UCLA School of Dentistry. His experience at UCLA instilled a strong interest in endodontics where he was fortunate to attend the University of Pennsylvania to complete his residency.
He returned to Los Angeles where he currently serves as a part-time lecturer and surgical attending at UCLA School of Dentistry Section of Endodontics since 2005. Concurrently he maintains private practices where he focuses on surgical and conventional endodontic therapies. His interests include laser and ultrasonic irrigation technology for both adult and pediatric treatments. He believes that clear communication with the patient and referring doctor are essential to delivering high-quality care.
Dr. Lim truly enjoys the practice of endodontics and considers it an honor to participate in patient care. When he is not in clinic or at UCLA, he enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and son. When time allows you can find him involved with service at his local parish, playing golf and tournament poker.
